Welcome to Part 4 of the Prologue of our Fantasy Flight Games Legend of the Five Rings (L5R) series!  Alex, Kaetlyn, Kolton, and Matt played in this series and Colin acted as GM.

At the beginning of every session of the Legend of the Five Rings series, starting with Session 02, we had been doing a prologue with a second set of characters. This is that secret part of the story we’ve been playing.

Today the the Samurai begin down the path of corruption as Matt’s character Hida attempts to deepen the corrupting influence of the Shadowlands Taint in Kaetlyn’s character, Matsu, while Alex’s character, Asahina, tries to find a way to save his companions.

At the end of our last session (that’s session 09 if you’re keeping track), you will have heard that we introduced some characters that our players and myself seemed to be very familiar with. That’s because at the beginning of every session, starting with Session 02, we’d been doing a prologue with a second set of characters. This is part of the reason why there have been only two sides to our Sessions for this series so far; now you’re going to get your side C’s as we finally let you all in on this secret part of the story!

Please join us as we take you back in time and introduce the other characters the players an I have been talking about so we can let you guys know what’s been going on with those new characters are! So, please welcome the new cast of Samurai to the story, and please listen as they get a very important mission from a very high ranking official in the Empire.

In this episode you’ll hear about the end of the bandit attack and about the return of Jun! Doji goes out and tries to find some rumors and does some bureaucratic work and speaks with Kakita about some sensitive information…
