Lost Mines of Phandelver – Session 19 Side A

Hello Listeners!

This week is Episode 38, Session 19 Side A, for the Lost Mines of Phandelver, the beginners adventure presented in the Dungeons and Dragons Starter Set.

You’ll hear Alex play Hal, a level 4 Bard. Kaetlyn plays Uitzash, a level 4 Warlock in service to Dendar. Kolton is introducing Krask, a level 4 Lizardfolk Paladin. And Matt plays a level 4 Grung Wizard named Rwrarp (pronounced like a frog noise). Colin was DM’ing this game. We are using the Milestone leveling variant in this adventure.

Today you’ll hear the party begin to delve into the Lost Mine! Krask finds some treasure, Colin made a funny mistake involving a pit and a rope, more hyjinks with the owlbear, and then we have a “story game” moment where the players tell us about the dungeon instead of listening to it described as they travel through a section that Colin called “otherwise boring.”

Then, they find The Pool.

Please, enjoy the show!

Lost Mines of Phandelver – Session 18 Side A

Hello Listeners!

This week is Episode 36, Session 18 Side A, for the Lost Mines of Phandelver, the beginners adventure presented in the Dungeons and Dragons Starter Set.

In today’s episode, we have a small time skip at the very beginning of this session. We meet up with the crew in an inn and they’re introduced to Kolton’s new character, the aforementioned lizardfolk paladin, Krask, who makes quite the impression. The players attempt to continue taming the Owlbear who still doesn’t have an official name. Gundren asks the players to go investigate the Wave Echo Cave and is willing to pay them quite a lot of gold to do so. And interspersed within all of this is the characters dealing with the loss of Olo with emotions ranging from sadness to suspicion and uncertainty.
A small disclaimer: We hadn’t seen each other for a few weeks between this recording and the last, so we’re a little silly. Hope you have as much fun listening as we did being goofs!

Still not back on the pun game it seems. The players are really slipping…

Please, enjoy the show!

It’s a bit hectic for them and there’s a few stumbling blocks as they try to put all of their affairs in order as quickly as possible, but it’s a pretty good time nonetheless.

Still not very punny in this episode.
