Lost Mines of Phandelver – Session 23 Side B

Hello Listeners!

This week is Episode 46, Session 23 Side A, for the Lost Mines of Phandelver, the beginners adventure presented in the Dungeons and Dragons Starter Set.

You’ll hear Alex play Hal, a level 4 Bard. Kaetlyn plays Uitzash, a level 4 Warlock in service to Dendar. Kolton is introducing Krask, a level 4 Lizardfolk Paladin. And Matt plays a level 4 Grung Wizard named Rwrarp (pronounced like a frog noise). Colin was DM’ing this game. We are using the Milestone leveling variant in this adventure.

In this episode you’ll hear us finish the climactic fight with the Black Spider! We also got a little loopy from a combat that lasted longer than Colin anticipated. Good times all around!

In this episode, the adventurers, less than stealthy due to a loudly whispered argument and an untimely sneeze, burst into a columned chamber with a giant dwarf statue and a couple bugbears. This generates a little confusion for the party as they were pretty sure that there was a drow in here at the end of last session. They rush in there and… the situation changes rapidly from there.

This week is Episode 45, Session 22 Side B, for the Lost Mines of Phandelver, the beginners adventure presented in the Dungeons and Dragons Starter Set.

You’ll hear Alex play Hal, a level 4 Bard. Kaetlyn plays Uitzash, a level 4 Warlock in service to Dendar. Kolton is introducing Krask, a level 4 Lizardfolk Paladin. After their encounter with Mormesk, the characters finally go and investigate the source of the booming sound. What they discover, is truly underwhelming.

The eventually decide that it’s time to do something about the creatures in this cave once and for all, because this is bullshit.

This week is Episode 44, Session 22 Side A, for the Lost Mines of Phandelver, the beginners adventure presented in the Dungeons and Dragons Starter Set.

You’ll hear Alex play Hal, a level 4 Bard. Kaetlyn plays Uitzash, a level 4 Warlock in service to Dendar. Kolton is introducing Krask, a level 4 Lizardfolk Paladin. In this week’s adventure, the characters start off by camping and having a pretty low key, but potentially frustrating, social encounter with The Guardian. Afterwards, they move on to the second building in this open cave chamber and discover a second, and differently annoying, guardian in the other structure.
